DSL

The Service
DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) Access is a much faster connection than the Internet access you may be accustomed to. At the slowest point, you'll have a 384k connection speed instead of the 56k modem you've been challenged with until now. With DSL Access you are always connected, so your time online is unlimited and you never have to worry about dialing in or connecting. Finally, you can use your regular phone while you're on the internet even if you only have one phone line. What a great deal. Get more and get it faster.

The Benefits
For residential and small business applications, ADSL will be the most sensible and most common choice because, most people are viewing the Internet, not sending information and transferring files. Though, some businesses have applications where significant data is transferred TO the Internet as well as retrieved FROM it. Examples might be companies that upload CAD (Computer Assisted Design) files, drawings, and images. They also might be companies that send information to the Internet for retrieval by subsidiaries or branch locations for payroll, record keeping, or video conferencing.

In instances like these, SDSL is an easy-to-choose alternative to ISDN and T1 lines. With DSL, you pay only one bill for the line connection and the Internet access. With ISDN or T1, you'll pay for the Internet access as well as a monthly bill to your local telephone company for the line. Most often, DSL will provide savings of between 10%-40% over ISDN and T1. That's why it's so easy-to-choose. Like we said before: Get more and get it faster.
